The Orange County Zoo is a small, 8-acre zoo located within the 477-acre Irvine Regional Park in the city of Orange, California, United States. The zoo is mainly home to animals and plants that are native to the Southwestern United States.
All mountain lion pictures were taken through a chain-link fence. The mountain lion lying down was taken through the chain-link fence and 50 feet away up in it's perch, about 10 feet in the air. The Bald and Golden Eagle pictures were taken from 20-30 feet and through 1/2" X 1X2" netting. Not the easiest circumstances, but gratifying, nonetheless.
