(2:57) Beautiful dolphin love to bow ride the Western Pride out of Davey's Locker, Newport Beach. Hang in there for the ending...turn up the volume! :)

(1:33) A big Blue Whale gives a nice show for all of us aboard Captain Devoe's Davey's Locker/Newport Landing whale watching boat (with Captain Mike on another Newport whale watching boat beside us) out of Newport Beach. Watch for the tail!
(1:36) Captain Mike on our boat narrates a very nice sequence from this Blue Whale, with another Davey's Locker/Newport Landing boat joining us, the Nautilus. No Tail, but what a beautiful setting!
(1:38) Nice tail shot from Captain Kane's boat along Newport Beach. Davey's Locker/Newport Landing whalewatching.
(3:23) Paul, a regular fishing and whale watching Captain, cleans some of the 40+ small shark caught on a fishing trip just a few hundred yards off the Newport Coast.
(2:05) Captain Devoe narrates as a Blue Whale circles our boat, coming within just a few feet of the excited passengers.  The name "Blue" Whale comes from the color it appears to be when right under the water's surface. This video shows a nice example of the "blue" color.
(1:45) Nothing to do with whales or dolphin, but here's the photographer doing something he does a few minutes a year...doodling. An awesome day between Spring semester and Summer School at the University of Southern California, 2014. I think there were 10 people on campus and that included security. :)

On a nice visit with friend, Laura Lindstrom, who did a great job on the video. Fountain noise in the background, where Laura was standing.

(3:58) January 25, 2015, an 8-hour whale watch from Dana Point. We watched pods of 11 and 17 Gray whales, plus others, totaling 45 Gray whales that day. Also a Fin whale, Common, Risso and Bottlenose dolphin, Harbor Seals and a Bald Eagle on Catalina Island.  Watch the Risso Dolphin swim with the Gray whales here and stay tuned for the spy-hop!

11 flukes on the 2nd half of this short video.

(1:06) 7/20/2010. Playing WWII era trombone and cornet for the dear parents of sister-in-law Laura (piano) and brother-in-law, Lawton. Have grown up with these wonderful people since 1977 and they are as much a part of our family as our own.
