Hattiesburg, MS Zoo

The Hattiesburg Zoo is a small 12-acre zoo located within Kamper Park in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Opened in 1950, it continually adds and upgrades exhibits, providing fun for the visitors of this great small town zoo.

Growing up in the Hattiesburg area, Oak Grove, this zoo has been a special place for me to visit over the years and continues to be a favorite of mine.

Living in California and only visiting this great zoo every couple of years or so, I am able to add a few new pics every now and then...Through fencing, colored glass, from distances...I get what I can with my non-professional camera, as I am not a professional photographer, just a "recreational" one...

Thanks for visiting my site! :)
